Top Six

You might have heard of the story about the time management advice that consultant Ivy Lee gave to Charles Schwab sometime in 1918. Schwab was one of the richest men in the world during that time.

Lee advised Schwab to write down the six most important things he needs to do and prioritize them in order of their importance. Then work on the first task until it is finished and go on to the next task and so on.
Schwab and his team at Bethlehem Steel gave it a try and after three months his company made progress so he gave Lee a check for $25,000 which is equivalent to $400,000 in 2015.

I’ve just started this method yesterday and found it effective!
For Christians, the number one item on their list should be God’s Kingdom. It’s not an option, it’s a command: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33
As we make God our number one, He will take care of the other items in our list.
